About Simulation95

Simulation95 is building at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare, and life sciences. We believe meaningful progress starts with people who understand the hardest problems firsthand. We’re bringing together experts, researchers, and builders to turn that understanding into technology that matters.

For curious people who take their craft seriously, this is an opportunity to help shape something early—with challenging problems, meaningful responsibility, and room to make a lasting contribution.

About the role

You will work closely with leadership on financial planning, corporate strategy, and business development. The role combines budgeting and financial modeling with the evaluation of customers, partnerships, investments, and other growth opportunities.

We are looking for a finance professional who can turn detailed analysis into sound commercial decisions and help put those decisions into practice. A background in investment banking or a comparable finance role, followed by experience within a growing business, would be particularly relevant.

Responsibilities

  • Manage annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term financial planning.
  • Track performance against budget, explain variances, and recommend action.
  • Build financial models to evaluate growth initiatives, pricing, capital allocation, and new business opportunities.
  • Work with leadership to develop corporate strategy and turn priorities into operating plans.
  • Identify and evaluate prospective customers, strategic partners, and expansion opportunities.
  • Support commercial proposals, deal structures, and negotiations with financial and market analysis.
  • Assess investments, acquisitions, and strategic transactions, including valuation and due diligence.
  • Prepare board materials, investor presentations, and management reports.
  • Work with operating teams to improve reporting on revenue, costs, cash flow, and profitability.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience, with a strong foundation in investment banking or a comparable finance role.
  • Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
  • Ability to assess both the financial and commercial merits of an opportunity.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, including experience preparing materials for executives and investors.
  • Ability to manage several priorities and carry work from analysis through execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, or a related field.

Preferred experience

  • Corporate strategy, strategic finance, corporate development, or business development at a growing company.
  • Fundraising, M&A, strategic partnerships, or commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working directly with founders or senior leadership.
